The Committee on Judiciary moved to amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting therefor a new title, to read as follows:

Eng. Com. Sub. for House Bill 2602A Bill to amend and reenact §61-3-18 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to criminalizing possession of property when a person  knows or has reason to know it is stolen; making possession of stolen property larceny; and clarifying that possession of stolen property while acting in cooperation with law enforcement or at law enforcement’s request is not a crime.
